Meet Kathy

Kathy is a Financial Planner at Heritage Financial Consultants and a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner (CFP®). Kathy’s passion stems from the satisfaction of helping clients create a meaningful life with financial independence. She is deeply committed to supporting clients in reaching their goals by providing creative and personalized solutions. This empowers them to live a life of significance and to do more for themselves, their families, and their communities.

Kathy and her team focus on communication, trust, and understanding as key guiding principles in building personalized financial plans. Each plan is crafted with the client’s best interest at the center. Clients are encouraged to thoroughly examine how they spend, invest, save, tax, and transfer wealth. From there, Kathy partners with them throughout the journey, simplifying the complex and delivering a high-quality client experience.

With nearly 20 years as a professor at Johns Hopkins University, Kathy takes pride in educating clients to make informed decisions about their financial future. She coaches them to stay focused on their plan and goals, providing steady guidance through both market changes and life transitions.

Kathy and her husband, Don, split their time between Maryland and Delaware, where they can often be found playing along the Delaware beaches with their golden retriever, Molly, and labradoodle, Sophie. Above all, Kathy is most proud of their four adult children and ten grandchildren, who keep them busy building treasured family memories.

Those interested in exploring a potential partnership with Kathy are encouraged to connect and learn more about how she supports clients in achieving their financial goals.
