Sarah Shaffer has twenty-plus years of experience in the Financial Services Industry, ranging from small RIA experience to working for a large brokerage firm. Sarah then joined the Cooper Planning Team as Director of Operations for Jody Cooper Otterson. 

Sarah is a mom to two adult sons.  Stephen, 28, works for a government contractor and currently lives in Northern Virginia.  Matthew, 20, is in his third year at UNC Charlotte and is working on his degree in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in Motorsports.  In her spare time, Sarah enjoys going to concerts, reading, and spending time at the beach.
