Baltimore-area Financial Planners Joined Thousands in Annual Citywide Race
Hunt Valley, MD – October 23, 2017 – Heritage Financial Consultants, a preeminent Mid-Atlantic wealth management firm providing comprehensive financial services, participated in the 2017 Baltimore Running Festival team relay.
The Baltimore Running Festival is an annual citywide event that includes the Baltimore Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K and Team Relay. Hosted every fall by Corrigan Sports, the festival draws tens of thousands of participants and encourages individuals, families and businesses across the city to choose an active, healthy lifestyle.
Heritage has been a frequent participant in the annual relay. For the relay, teams consisting of four runners each compete against one another in a 25-mile marathon race. Each runner completes a select portion of the race. The course begins at the corner of Paca and Camden Street and goes all over the city, passing through Fells Point, Federal Hill, the Maryland Zoo and the Baltimore harbor waterfront.
“We were thrilled to return to the Baltimore Running Festival this year for the team relay,” said Brian Horn, a Financial Planner with Heritage Financial Consultants. “The festival has become a hallmark for the city of Baltimore and as a firm, we value the team building experience, as well as the opportunity to meet and connect with local community members and businesses.”
In addition to participating in the Baltimore Running Festival, Heritage frequently partners with local non-profits to give back to the Baltimore community. A longstanding partner of Catholic Charities, Heritage most recently participated in the organization’s biannual Dragon Bowl, a fundraising event that supports Catholic Charities and its partner programs. In addition, Heritage participates in the Ronald McDonald Red Shoe Shuffle and Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Festival of Trees.
